How can our Counselling and Psychotherapy Service help you?
We often find ourselves overwhelmed by what is happening to us in our lives. Major transitions can cause us to believe that we might not be able to cope with what we are going through or what is ahead of us. Our existing coping skills do not seem effective enough anymore to resolve our presenting problems. We feel the need to change. However, our uncertainty is so great that we cannot hear our inner voice that would help us out in these phases or states.
We need some help from outside. That is an honest, trusting relationship that can allow us to feel safe enough to open up for exploration about ourselves. We may only need someone to listen to us and be with us during these distressing times when we are experiencing difficulty finding new ways of relating to certain aspects of ourselves, to others or to the new situations in our lives.
However, very often we need more than that. We even wish to set out on a journey to find a deeper connection or re-connection to ourselves accompanied by the guiding presence of a trained counsellor or psychotherapist. On the journey of coming home.

Length of session
Each session lasts 50 minutes.
The fee can vary depending on your circumstances and on the therapist.
To achieve a better success for individual therapy, it is suggested to have weekly sessions.
48-hour notice is requested if you wish to cancel a session. If you cannot keep the 48-hour notice, you will be asked for a cancellation fee. You will agree on this with your therapist at the first session.
