About Me
A space to explore
Much of what shapes our lives happens beneath the surface of everyday conversations – in our emotions, relationships, and patterns we carry. Counselling offers a chance to pause, reflect, and better understand these inner experiences.
My professional journey
I began my career in education, teaching English in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Ireland. Over time, my focus shifted towards the emotional and psychological aspects of human experience, which led me to train as a counsellor and psychotherapist.
I completed a BA (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy at Dublin Business School, Ireland, in 2016, a QQI-validated NFQ Level 8 Honours Bachelor Degree (EQF Level 6) within Ireland’s national qualifications framework.
Following my degree, I undertook three years of supervised post-training clinical practice, fulfilling the requirements of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP), and became an Accredited Member in 2018.
I continued working in private practice in Dublin until 2020, providing counselling to individuals and couples, as well as gaining valuable experience in facilitating family and systemic constellation group work. After returning to Hungary, I completed an MA in Mental Health (Expert in Mental Health in Relations and Community Development) at Apor Vilmos Catholic College, Hungary, in 2022.
Experience in Counselling (since 2014)
I have worked in a variety of professional settings:
- As a counsellor and psychotherapist at a Psychological Services clinic in Ireland (GP referrals)
- As a trainee counsellor at a community-based rehabilitation services focused on relapse prevention
- In private practice
Who I Work With in Counselling
I work online with Hungarian and international clients living in Budapest and abroad. My clients include individuals, couples and families across different stages of life and from diverse cultural backgrounds. Many are navigating emotional, relational or cultural challenges, including adapting to a new country or returning home after living abroad.
Approaches
I use an integrative approach, combining:
- Systemic, humanistic, and psychodynamic frameworks
- Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) principles
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed techniques
- Trauma-informed, somatic approaches
- Practical, experiential tools from psychodrama and family constellations
Counselling is a collaborative process. Together, we explore goals, inner resources, and emotional patterns to support meaningful change and growth.
