Frequently Asked Questions

Book a session
1. What can I expect from counselling?

I provide an accepting and compassionate space where you can better understand your difficulties, gain clarity about your situation, and explore new perspectives. My work is not about fixing you or giving ready-made answers, but about working together with you to understand what is happening, including why you may be feeling, doing, or reacting the way you do, and how change may become possible.

2. How long does a session last?

A session lasts 50 minutes.

3. How many sessions do I need, and how often do we meet?

The number of sessions depends on your individual situation. Sometimes a few sessions are enough to clarify a specific issue, while more complex topics may require a longer process.

Individual sessions are generally recommended on a weekly basis. For couples or relationship counselling, a bi-weekly rhythm is often more effective, allowing time to process what comes up between sessions.

For relationship work, it is common to plan for a minimum of 12–20 sessions.

4. What happens if I stop the process early?

You are free to pause or end counselling at any time. If possible, it is recommended to have a final session to reflect on the process and integrate what you would like to take forward.

5. What is the cancellation policy?

Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.

Cancellations within 48 hours are subject to a fee of €25.

Cancellations on the same day of the appointment, or missed sessions, are charged at the full fee.

6. How does payment work?

Payment is made by bank transfer (e.g. Revolut) on the same day after the session. Details are agreed during the initial contact.

7. Will I receive feedback during the process?

Yes. I provide ongoing feedback throughout the counselling process. Around the 8–9th session, we also take time for a first joint review to reflect on where the work is going and what direction may be helpful moving forward.
