About Me
A space to explore
Much of what shapes our lives happens beneath the surface of everyday conversations – in our emotions, relationships, and patterns we carry. Counselling offers a chance to pause, reflect, and better understand these inner experiences.
My professional journey
I began my career in education, teaching English in Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Ireland. Over time, my focus shifted towards the emotional and psychological aspects of human experience, which led me to train as a counsellor and psychotherapist.
I completed a BA (Hons) in Counselling & Psychotherapy at Dublin Business School in 2016. Following a further three years of supervised post-qualification clinical practice required for accreditation, I became an accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP).
During this period, I ran a private practice in Dublin, providing counselling to individuals and gaining valuable experience facilitating family and systemic constellation group work. After returning to Hungary, I completed a Master’s degree in Mental Health at Apor Vilmos Catholic College.
Experience
I have worked in a variety of professional settings:
- Psychotherapy centre in Ireland (GP referrals)
- Community-based rehabilitation services focused on relapse prevention
- Private practice
I work with individuals, couples, and families from different life stages and cultural backgrounds. Many clients are navigating emotional, relational, or cultural challenges, including adapting to new countries or returning home after living abroad.
Approach
I use an integrative approach, combining:
- Systemic, humanistic, and psychodynamic frameworks
- Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Internal Family Systems (IFS)
- Trauma-informed, somatic approaches
- Insights from psychodrama and family constellations
Counselling is a collaborative process. Together, we explore goals, inner resources, and emotional patterns to support meaningful change and growth.
